Tournament Competition
Karate International students are welcome and encouraged to compete in all American Martial Artists Association (AMAA) state tournaments. This will teach students pride, integrity, and self confidence by getting up in front of an audience. All students under black belt will earn an award. Karate International hosts about 3 of these state tournaments per year. We strongly urge you to show your dedication by supporting these tournaments.
Seminars
Every couple of months KI has seminars, held by many Master Instructors and Black Belts around the state. This is to further broaden the students martial arts knowledge and to gain exposure from other instructors on specific areas.
Campouts
Always a blast, once a year we hold a karate campout with other Karate International locations around the state. These are held from Friday-Sunday and students learn several different martial arts from many high ranking instructors. Students get to make new friends from around the state by getting to know other karate students and instructors.
Cookouts
KI has cookouts periodically throughout the spring. This is a great way to get to know other members of our KI family and have fun.
Christmas Parties
Our Christmas Party is our biggest event of the year. We bring all of our dojos together to eat, play games, enjoy balloon animals and fun. Santa comes and visits the karate kids. We give out awards to our most dedicated and helpful students and parents.
